You know, for as lame as the movie is...the soundtrack is good.

That is, if you like hearing the same music over and over again.

The "theme" music is just...the only tune in the entire soundtrack. It's a good theme, but...you know...14 tracks on the variant of the same song is just annoying.

shutup
First off;
All new DVd releases at Circuit City today were $20.
RAGE. I wanted to get Stranger Than Fiction, Man of the Year, Superman Returns, and much much more...but I just stuck with The Prestige. O the tragedy. I suppose I could buy them online.
Oh yeah; online shoppers, Amazon is 80% cheaper AND easier to browse than Ebay. As an avid online shopper, *points to Amazon*
Need textbooks? buy them on Amazon. Again, cheaper than half.com/ebay.

other such musings you won't find as amusin/informative. perhaps. )

I'm hungry.

Oh dude! music finds! )

Tomorrow I go shopping with my mother......Excited.

I'm still hungry....and Mike's still not picking up his phone.....so I'll go downstairs and make myself a bagel. And watch "The Prestige".

I love Frank Sinatra. I really do.
So, for the longest time, I loved this music but I never knew the names or the genre so I couldn't go and GET SOME. I was once again reminded when my dorm hall was playing some during finals week and I was overcome with, "GAH, MUST GET THIS WHATEVER IT IS!"
But I googled "Julie London" because her music is from the same genere and it came out from "V for Vendetta" and got it. Finally. btw, Julie London is a GREAT start if you're ever curious. Her voice is so beautiful and sultry. You'll definitely enjoy it.

So guys, I love jazz, apparently. *laughs* And big band. And swing.

I already have like, 24+ hours of it and I'm getting MORE. Several gigs more. I can't get enough. You don't know how long I've been waiting to get my hands on this stuff.

And my mom found an old record store here in Palmdale....we have a kickass record player but don't use it and all we have is like, classical music anyway (not that there's anything wrong with that).....so we're gonna go sometime this coming week and buy records! YES! XD I'm excited. When I get my own place, a record player will be a must get.

I also got some new soundtracks:
The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast (movie and musical), Peter Pan (2003), Enemy At the Gates, Aladdin, The Incredibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Some are downloaded, most are bought on Amazon because they're old and not up....*shrug* Soundtracks and DVD's are one of the few things I am willing to pay for.
I am SOO UPSET because I KNOW I have the "Peter Pan" soundtrack. I just don't know what I did with it *sob* so I had to buy it again..because I love it..and miss it.
I also had to rebuy "Phantom of the Opera" (gerard butler) because my brother broke it. *sob*

Goal of springbreak: go through and reorganize all my cd's and dvd's; it's a GIANT task, as I have like, loads and mountains of them, but I need to because several cd's and dvd's have gone missing and it's breaking my heart.

Also, bought the "Casino Royale" dvd today...again, love it. That guy has BEAUTIFUL blue eyes. I am SO jealous. I wish I had colored eyes. I only have a boring poopy brown.
I was surprised to see "Eragon" out, too......but I wouldn't waste my money on buying THAt dvd. Not worth it at all. Was sorely tempted to get "Borat", though. *chuckles*
